On 9 June 2025 at 3:20 p.m., His Majesty the King graciously appointed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to represent him in presenting the “Ananda Mahidol Day” commemorative pins for the year 2025 to benefactors at the Bhumisiri Mangkalanusorn Building, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society. On this occasion, Mr. Poomchai Tridlanon, Managing Director of CP Social Impact Co., Ltd. and Senior Vice President of Agro-industrial Business, Charoen Pokphand Group, together with Mr. Krit Sook-udom, Senior Expert of Sustainability Management, Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF), jointly welcomed Her Majesty and received the commemorative pins on behalf of Charoen Pokphand Group, one of the benefactors of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
Mr. Poomchai Tridlanont expressed his gratitude on this honorable occasion, saying, “It is an immeasurable kindness that Charoen Pokphand Group has received a commemorative pin on Ananda Mahidol Day, which is a day to commemorate the kindness of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, who was a model of dedication to others and was the founder of ‘Chulalongkorn Doctors’, an important foundation of the Thai medical profession up until today.

“Ananda Mahidol Day” falls on June 9 of every year. It is the anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, the monarch who had the greatest benevolence towards the Thai medical community and was the one who created “Chulalongkorn University Doctors” for the benefit of all Thai people.
